Looks like that decision may well come to haunt me this weekend....perhaps the search for paid web hosting will start a little sooner than ecpected?

Actually, it's wise to start off with a cheap hosting in case it flops entirely straight off. Good, small site hosting doesn't need to be expensive though and it probably pay to move before you have too much baggage to drag with you.
